ABC Corp. had existing business processes set up in SAP Business One to conduct their B2B workflow offline. Each B2B company had their own price lists, payment terms, purchasing agents and ship to address. With the ever increasing customer service expectations from B2B purchasing agents, it was time for ABC Corp. to bring the process online. ABC Corp. intended to use SAP Business One as a master data center to push all relative information to a B2B portal where purchasing agents could see their specific pricing, volume discounts and a personalized dashboard with order history, order status, reorder, tracking information and more. To achieve this, ABC Corp. needed to integrate SAP Business One with Magento to allow their B2B customers to quickly purchase their products online.
Using the data from SAP Business One, SILK created a custom mobile friendly Magento B2B portal with a suite of features. A notable feature of the solution is the “Corporate Entity” piece. With SILK’s integration tool, Business Partners are synced to corporate entities in Magento. Companies who purchase from ABC Corp. can add employees with specific roles from their Admin account: Sales Rep and Sales Manager. After login, a sales rep can add to quote for approval as well as view their own quotes and orders. A Sales Manager can view all quotes from Sales Reps within an organization and approve the quotes. Purchasing agents can quickly add products to a “quick order form” by SKU, as well as add multiple products to the cart at once from the product page. All the important product, order, inventory, pricing, shipping and tracking information are synced between Magento and SAP Business one.
