Participants The client Kickin’ Tickets, Inc. is a Florida-based leading B2C online broker in the ticketing industry. The development team is comprised of seasoned programmers in China. The creative and passionate art designers come from a professional Los Angeles based design company. Challenge The project requires both the redesign of the existing website and feature enhancements. The client invited Silk Software to implement new website functionalities and a Los Angeles based design firm to implement web page layout. A good collaboration between the two is critical for the ultimate success of the project. However, this is a tough task. As a matter of fact, programmers and art designers usually speak different ‘languages’—thousands of lines of codes have to be embedded into well structured HTML frames pre-designed by art designers, bringing the two actors in the face of constant and annoying tweaks.
